A short through-the-lens clip gives us a sneak preview of the new enterprise focused hardware.On the other hand, passthrough AR allows fully opaque renderings to be viewed in the “real world”. It is much cheaper than the HoloLens 2 at the cost of video quality.

The Lynx R-1 is an interesting beast, it is a standalone headset that runs on Android 10 and even with the promised discount I wouldn’t bet on it dropping under $1000. What is so appealing about this headset? It would have to be the new display design for the lens. They have a unique design that allows the users eyes to get closer to the display than most other headsets. This decision allowed for a discrete eye tracking camera to be placed in the centre of each lens that allows for super accurate eye tracking and reduces the impact and severity of image distortion.Travel companies are using virtual reality to allow customers to visit places and determine if they wish to visit in real life.
